We struck gold! It's absolutely true. Sun Microsystems Laboratories loves
interns and the stellar treatment of our interns underscores Sun Labs' commitment
to the Sun Labs University Intern Program, still going strong since 1991.
And from this goldmine of interns, a few nuggets chose to become members of
the Sun Labs staff. Random House defines metamorphosis as a
"profound change in form from one stage to the next in the life history of an
organism." Sun Labs is proud of the metamorphosis that took place as interns
became staff members. Whether they remained in Menlo Park, California or
Burlington, Massachusetts -- or whether they moved on to other business units
at Sun -- interns joined Sun Labs in their quest to help Sun invent the future.
Meet some of our distinguished staff members who recall the intern
experience at Sun Labs, describe their current achievements and
challenges, and offer a bit of advice to new potential interns.
