Grzegorz "Greg" Czajkowski joined Sun Microsystem Laboratories in the summer of 1999,
after obtaining a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University. He is
interested in operating systems, programming languages, and middleware.
Greg is a senior staff engineer and currently is
leading the Barcelona project,
which focuses on architectures for improving the scalability and reliability of the JavaTM platform.
Greg is the spec lead for the
JSR 121
(also known as "The Isolation API"). Another item he recommends
to check out is
the Multi-Tasking Virtual Machine,
recently released by Sun Labs.
