Pete St Pierre is a Staff Engineer for Sun Microsystems Laboratories. His research interests include Advanced Network Applications, Distributed Systems, end-to-end issues, High Performance Computing, High-speed networks, Linux, Network and Systems Security, Networking, open source, TCP and Wireless sensor networks.

Pete is working on the Sun SPOTs project. He is currently responsible for the Sun SPOT network protocol stack and is exploring topics in routing and IPv4/6 deployment in sensor networks.
