Jo Ebergen is a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems Laboratories, where he is a member of the VLSI Research Group. Jo works on experimental architectures and design aids for VLSI circuit design, in particular asynchonrous circuit design. Prior to joining Sun, Jo taught at the University of Waterloo in Canada and the Technical University at Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Jo has worked, published, and lectured on many aspects of asynchronous circuit design during his academic and industrial career. In August 2002, he co-authored with Ivan Sutherland an article on Clockless Chips published in Scientific American.
